    March 1, 2024 -  Welcome to the 2024 Continuing Education Refresher Course.  

    INSTRUCTIONS: 

    Please watch the video posted below. It contains new information and several updates, as well as some key information for review, which CHCA nurses are required to be familiar with.  Once you have watched the video, you will need to successfully complete the quiz in order for you to be re-rostered for future contracts.  If you have any clinical questions, please email your education team:

    Please make sure you have created, and are able to access the OneHealth Web Portal, and review any pertinent policies and protocols found there.  Instructions to create a profile can be found below.

    OneHealth WEB PORTAL

    Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is making some important changes to the One Health Web Portal.  Effective 2021, All FNIHB Clinical Practice Guidelines and ISC Clinical Care Pathways will be moving to the the secure side of the One Health website. One Health also contains all the updated Policies and Procedures from Indigenous Services Canada which all Community Health Nurses should be familiar with.

    Below you will find instructions on how to register for a One Health account.  The One Health national web portal is easily accessed by anyone working in health with Indigenous communities who requires or requests access.
    1. Please register for your account at www.onehealth.ca.
    2. Open the link, choose "Ontario", then click on "Register" in the top right corner. (see image below)
    3. Complete the form and submit.  (see sample images attached)
    It will take a few days to process, and you will receive an email from the system with your unique login information.  

    **IMPORTANT FOR NP's**:  make sure you register as a community health nurse/ registered nurse for OneHealth - NOT as a NP in order to access all the relevant information.  

    (Note: OneHealth can take several days to a week to reply with your unique username and password)
